Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all logistical and operational arrangements for assignments implemented in Ethiopia.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and manage field data collection teams.
- Liaise with regional authorities, local stakeholders, humanitarian actors, and implementing partners.
- Coordinate scheduling and implementation of specialized nutrition and therapeutic care facility assessments.
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards, safeguarding procedures, and data quality protocols.
- Oversee FGDs, KIIs, surveys, and health facility assessments.
- Monitor daily field progress and ensure timely reporting.
- Conduct spot checks and quality control reviews.
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and community entry procedures.
- Support translation and contextual adaptation of evaluation tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Statistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience coordinating field data collection in Ethiopia.
- Demonstrated field coordination experience across diverse regional and humanitarian contexts within Ethiopia.
- Experience conducting health facility assessments and humanitarian evaluations.
- Fluency in Oromo, Amharic, and English is required.
- Strong understanding of humanitarian operations and regional coordination mechanisms.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
