Jocham Hospital is seeking to hire a competent Dentist to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, preventing, and treating oral health issues while providing exceptional patient care.
The successful candidate will:
- Provide comprehensive dental care including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of oral diseases
- Perform routine dental procedures such as examinations, fillings, extractions, scaling, and polishing
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive dental care
- Maintain accurate patient records in line with hospital policies
- Adhere to infection prevention and control (IPC) standards and dental SOPs
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient car
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of dental equipment and materials
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Must possess a Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized university in Kenya.
- Must be registered and have a valid practicing license from Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentist Council
- At least Two (2) years post-internship experience in a busy Dental clinic.
- Excellent communication skills
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills and willingness to provide leadership.
- Self-driven personality, honesty and integrity
