Job Purpose
Stocks management – receiving, inspecting, storage and dispatch to customers and depots on timely basis.
- Controls inventory levels by conducting daily, weekly cycle counts as well as monthly stock takes and reconciling with ERP (SYSPRO).
- Ensure use of FEFO at all times and Up to date store records i.e. Bin cards/ syspro ERP
- Preparing and submitting daily stock movements to reconciliation team and sound stock to supervisor.
- Minimize / eliminate stock losses through detection and prevention of fraud, pilferage etc.
- Ensure the stocks are well organized as per the racking schedule.
- Up to date store records i.e. Bin cards/ syspro ERP.
- Ensure all transfers to internal/external are well documented and order/ journal are free from errors before receiving and issuing
- Daily reporting on space availability in all external stores
Qualifications
- Degree or Higher diploma in logistics, purchasing and supply chain or procurement.
- KCSE certificate – C plain.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Team working skills and conflict management.
- Solution oriented and embracing new technology.
- Accountability and result driven.
- Be innovative.
- Must be prepared to work in a shift arrangement.
- Team Player
- 2 years’ experience in a busy FMCG environment will be an added advantage.
