Duties and Responsibilities
Job Grade: KP 8
- Guide and supervise pharmacology Practicals in the polytechnic
- Guide and supervise pharmacy practice and dispensing trainees Practicals
- Guide and supervise analytical chemistry Practical.
- Maintain inventory records in the pharmaceuticals laboratory.
- Carry out requisitions for pharmaceutical practicals.
- Maintain and calibrate equipment and machines in the laboratory.
- Carry out proper handling and disposal of laboratory wastes.

Requirements, the applicant should:
- Have a diploma in pharmaceutical technology or Analytical chemistry or Applied biology or medical laboratory.
- Be Registered member of a regulatory board
- Have a current practicing license.
- Have at least 2 years’ experience in the field of pharmacy/analytical laboratory/pharmacology laboratory.
- Registration by pharmacy and poisons board is added advantage.
