Brief Overview:
The Medical Officer will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients, supporting clinical decision-making, and ensuring high standards of diagnosis, treatment, and patient management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide quality medical care to patients in accordance with hospital policies and professional standards.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage both outpatient and inpatient cases.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
- Participate in clinical audits, continuous medical education, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Any other responsibilities prescribed by the hospital management.
Requirements for Appointment / Qualifications
- MBChB degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration and practicing license from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
- Relevant post-internship clinical experience.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
