The Medical Physicist supports clinical services by applying physics principles to medical diagnosis, treatment, and radiation safety within healthcare settings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensuring safe and effective use of radiation and imaging equipment
  • Conducting quality assurance and calibration of radiological equipment
  • Supporting treatment planning and dose calculations in radiotherapy
  • Advising clinical teams on radiation safety and compliance standards

Requirements & Qualifications

  • One year experience in a relevant and comparable position
  • Bachelors of science in medical physics or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • Certificate in computer applications from a recognized institution; and
  • Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
