Role Purpose
The Nurse will provide comprehensive medical care and support to TAGS residents, ensuring physical health, emotional wellbeing, and compliance with healthcare and safeguarding standards. The role requires a compassionate and professional individual committed to working with vulnerable women and girls in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary medical assessment, treatment, and monitoring of shelter residents.
- Develop and implement individual care plans and follow-ups.
- Administer medication and maintain accurate medical records.
- Offer health education and preventive care, including sexual and reproductive health awareness.
- Work closely with counselors and social workers to ensure integrated care.
- Respond to medical emergencies promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate referrals to hospitals and other healthcare facilities when required.
- Ensure strict adherence to safeguarding and protection policies, maintaining confidentiality and dignity of residents.
- Conduct regular hygiene, nutrition, and wellness check-ins.
- Support capacity-building sessions for staff on basic health, emergency response, and safeguarding concerns.
- Participate in case management meetings and contribute to survivor-centered care planning.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing practice license from KMTC.
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, preferably working with women, children, vulnerable populations, or in a health facility setting.
- Training in safeguarding, trauma-informed care, GBV management, or mental health is an added advantage.
- Ability to handle sensitive cases with empathy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
- Mature, emotionally resilient, and committed to working in a crisis-care environment.
