Jocham Hospital is seeking to hire a competent Procurement Officer who will be responsible for managing the procurement processes within the hospital. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that the hospital’s supplies and equipment are acquired in a timely, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and execute procurement activities in line with hospital policies
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate prices, and manage contracts
- Ensure timely procurement of medical and non-medical supplies
- Maintain accurate procurement records and inventory documentation
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve procurement-related issues
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with finance, stores, and departmental heads to forecast needs
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proven experience in procurement, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of procurement procedures, inventory management, and vendor relations
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software is an added advantage
