We Techminds Technologies Ltd. are seeking a Procurement Specialist – IT to manage sourcing and procurement of IT products and services. The ideal candidate will bring strong IT procurement and vendor management experience, together with the ability to work effectively with leading technology suppliers and internal technical teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage end-to-end procurement for IT equipment, software and services in line with company policies.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and commercial terms to achieve value and cost savings without compromising quality.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved supplier database.
- Work with technical teams to understand requirements and ensure timely delivery of IT resources.
- Ensure compliance with company and regulatory procurement processes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, IT or a related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in IT procurement or vendor management.
- Strong knowledge of IT products, solutions and industry suppliers.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with ERP / procurement software such as SAP, Oracle or similar.
- CIPS certification or progress towards it is an added advantage.
