Responsibilities
In this position, you will:
- Maintain relationships with key account customers by providing high-quality, personalized service to ensure long-term loyalty.
- Execute sales growth strategies on a monthly and quarterly basis, mapping regions according to purchasing capabilities and preparing detailed visit plans.
- Drive revenue through active selling by upselling parts during customer interactions and participating in company-organized promotions.
- Manage parts inventory and efficiency by using catalogs for accurate information and utilizing inventory allowances to minimize idle or obsolete stock.
- Coordinate cross-departmentally with Service, Sales, and the Body Shop to ensure all parts requests are met promptly.
- Support technical operations by assisting Service Technicians in determining parts requirements and providing them with necessary items with minimal wait time.
- Handle customer inquiries and orders by answering questions, following up on sales, and informing customers when special order parts arrive.
- Monitor market trends by keeping up to date with New Holland and competitor products and rates to remain competitive.
- Ensure administrative accuracy by maintaining a proper filing system for repair orders, special orders, and back orders.
- Promote process improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance methods within the Parts Department.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you would need:
- Experience: 2 years in agricultural machinery parts sales with a proven track record of sales performance.
- Education: A minimum of a degree in a business-related field; additional training in customer service is an advantage.
- Strategic Mindset: Ability to map regions according to purchasing capabilities and execute sales growth strategies.
- Organizational Skills: High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while working autonomously.
- Technical Proficiency: Computer literacy and the ability to utilize parts catalogs/resources effectively.
- Mobility: A valid driving license is required for field-based travel.
