Nation Media Group (NMG) has announced significant changes to its Board of Directors following the appointment of six new members and the step-down of four long-serving directors.

The media conglomerate confirmed that Juliana Rotich, Bharat Thakrar, Julius Kipngetich, Julie Gichuru, Georgia Mutagahywa, and Wilfred Musau have joined the NMG Board. Their appointments bring a diverse mix of leadership across technology, corporate governance, strategic communications, media, and finance.

Concurrently, the board announced the departure of outgoing members Nancy Booker, Al-noor Ramji, Sultan Ali Allana, and Fayyaz Nurmohamed. The group extended its appreciation to the exiting directors for their service and contributions to the company’s governance and strategic goals during their tenure.

Earlier this year, the Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development (AKFED) ended its 66-year stewardship of Nation Media Group (NMG), signing over its entire shareholding to Rostam Azizi’s acquisition vehicle, Taarifa Ltd.
