The Safaricom Foundation has officially rolled out Phase 8 of its flagship Ndoto Zetu initiative, reaffirming its commitment to driving sustainable, community-led growth across health, education, and economic empowerment in all 47 counties.

With a fresh commitment of Ksh. 100 million for this phase, total funding for the Ndoto Zetu initiative now stands at Ksh. 700 million since its inception in 2019.

In a strategic shift for this latest installment, the Foundation is giving a second chance to past applicants whose high-impact proposals were previously unfunded. The focus will center on re-evaluating these historic entries to identify grassroots projects capable of delivering immediate, lasting transformation.

“With Ndoto Zetu, we are inspired by everyday Kenyans who dare to dream not just for themselves, but for their communities,” said Joseph Ogutu, Chairman of the Safaricom Foundation. “As we move into the eighth phase, we are giving Kenyans who have long wanted to create positive change another opportunity to make their dreams a reality. This year, we will consider impactful proposals from previous applicants that have not yet received funding.”
