Detectives have arrested two suspects in connection with a murder and a separate stabbing incident reported in Lindi, Kibra, Nairobi County, on October 23, 2026.

On Thursday, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) identified the suspects as Abdizar Suleiman and Stephen Litari Hussein, adding that they were arrested in the Kingstone area of Lindi following an intelligence-led operation.

The incidents left a 49-year-old man dead and a 58-year-old man seriously injured after they were attacked in separate incidents while on their way to work.

In the first incident, Jacob Odhiambo Alube was allegedly stabbed in the chest and left thigh after resisting a robbery in which the assailants stole his valuables, including a mobile phone.

Police officers who responded to the scene found his body lying in a pool of blood, with bloodstains several metres away indicating a possible struggle.

Crime Scene Investigation personnel processed the scene before the body was moved to Nairobi Funeral Home, where it is awaiting a post-mortem examination.
