Wunmi Mosaku is the cover star of British Vogue’s October 2026 issue, returning to her hometown of Manchester for a fashion editorial that highlights her Nigerian-British heritage, family and growing profile in Hollywood.

Mosaku, 40, appears on the cover wearing a Klein-blue Bottega Veneta look, with jewelry by Bvlgari. The actor was photographed in Manchester’s historic Deansgate district alongside her two children.

Her Vogue appearance follows a breakout year that included her performance as Annie, a hoodoo healer, in Sinners. The role drew attention during the awards season, when Mosaku appeared on red carpets while heavily pregnant, incorporating references to her British Nigerian background into her fashion choices.

The October issue also explores the relationship between fashion, art and craftsmanship. Among its features is a rare interview with Jean-Michel Basquiat’s sisters, Lisane Basquiat and Jeanine Heriveaux, ahead of the December release of their film Jean-Michel, which examines lesser-known aspects of the artist’s life and upbringing in Brooklyn.

Writer and screenwriter Dolly Alderton also gives readers a behind-the-scenes look at her adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, sharing excerpts from the diary she kept while filming the six-part production.
