Enforcement officers are conducting real-time speed monitoring and verifying the functionality of speed limiters on commercial and public transport vehicles.

As travel activity reaches its peak between December and January, the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has launched nationwide compliance crackdowns to ensure safety across all major transport corridors.

Inspectors are also auditing driver credentials, route licenses, passenger manifests, seatbelt compliance, and vehicle load weights.

Additionally, breathalyser tests are being administered to detect drink-driving. Drivers are advised that legitimate speeding notifications will come exclusively via SMS from sender ID "NTSA".
