Sifuna said his administration would target wasteful spending within its first 100 days in office, arguing that public resources were being lost through unnecessary expenditure and what he termed “budgeted corruption”.

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna has pledged to cut government spending by Sh500 billion and abolish taxes on fuel, electricity and the Housing Levy if the Linda Mwananchi Movement forms government after the 2027 General Election.
