Trinity Starlets will be looking to build on their recent victory over Bungoma Queens when they host Zetech Sparks in the Kenya Women’s Premier League (KWPL) at Afraha Stadium in Nakuru on Saturday.

Head coach Sylvanus Wesonga believes the win has boosted his players’ confidence as they target consecutive victories and seek to improve their position in the league standings.

“The win against Bungoma Queens has rejuvenated the players. They are more confident, especially after earning their winning allowances. Even in training, they are eager to go,” Wesonga told Citizen Digital.

Trinity will also welcome back defender Pauline Nakhanu, who has recovered from an injury and returned to the squad ahead of the 3pm kick-off.

The Nakuru-based side will be hoping to repeat its previous victory over Zetech Sparks, although the visitors will be keen to upset the hosts and secure a positive result away from home.

Elsewhere, Elim White Ladies will host Vihiga Queens at Ndura Stadium in Kitale at 3pm, with both sides seeking their first wins of the season.

Bungoma Queens will travel to face Kenya Police Bullets at Kasarani Annex in a 2pm kick-off, looking to bounce back from their defeat to Trinity Starlets.

Shabana Starlets will take on Gideon Starlets at Green Stadium in Awendo at 1pm, as both teams seek valuable points.

Sunday’s action will see Kibera Starlets host Kayole Starlets at Dandora Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 1pm.
