Sunday’s meeting will be the second competitive encounter between the two clubs. Tusker are also the latest Kenyan side to face Tanzanian opposition in CAF inter-club competition, with previous meetings between clubs from the two countries producing mixed results.

Tusker FC must deliver a strong away performance against Tanzania’s Singida Black Stars on Sunday if they are to overturn a 1-0 first-leg deficit and keep their CAF Confederation Cup group-stage hopes alive.

The Brewers travel to the Azam Sports Complex in Chamazi needing to win by at least two goals to secure qualification in normal time. A one-goal victory would take the tie to a penalty shootout, while a draw or defeat would see the Kenyan side eliminated.

The challenge follows a frustrating first leg at Nyayo National Stadium last weekend, where Tusker failed to convert their chances before Singida punished them with the decisive goal.
