Government seeks private capital to boost irrigation

The government is seeking increased private-sector investment in irrigation as Kenya and other countries in Eastern and Southern Africa work to expand food production, create jobs and reduce reliance on rain-fed farming. The push is being discussed at the Eastern and Southern Africa Private Sector Forum on Irrigation in Nairobi. Denis Otieno tells us more.
