EACC arrests two Kakamega suspects over alleged bribery

The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested two suspects in Kakamega County for allegedly demanding and receiving cash from a suspect under active investigation by the commission, with a false promise of having the capacity to influence the outcome of the investigations. The suspects are currently being held at Bungoma police station pending further investigations.
