Jeff Koinange Faces Backlash After Viral Interview Request With Young Millionare Talks

Jeff Koinange and Young Millionaire Talks are at the centre of a debate after a video from the Africa Commerce & Industry Summit 2026 went viral. Elijah, host of Young Millionaire Talks, approached the veteran journalist for an interview. Koinange reportedly replied, “Let’s talk later, young man,” before moving on. Some viewers say the moment came across as dismissive. Others argue that an interview request should have been made off-camera first. Elijah, meanwhile, shared a message about treating rejection as redirection. Was this an awkward brush-off, a reasonable response to an impromptu request, or a lesson in approaching public figures?
