Kenya Kwanza leaders accuse opposition of politicising IEBC ahead of 2027 polls

Kenya Kwanza leaders have accused the opposition of raising alarm over the electoral process after allegedly sensing defeat in the 2027 General Election. The leaders, who toured Mumias and Samburu for various empowerment initiatives, maintained that the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is an independent body whose mandate must not be interfered with. They also accused the opposition of promoting ethnic-based politics ahead of the 2027 polls.
