Kenya’s junior starlets head to Spain ahead of U17 Women’s World Cup

Kenya’s junior starlets will travel to Spain on Monday for a high-level training camp as they put the finishing touches to their preparations for the Under-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco. The Kenyan youngsters will face Australia and Spanish clubs Real Betis and Cádiz in three friendly matches, giving the technical bench a chance to test the squad against quality opposition. From Spain, the starlets will travel directly to Morocco, where they have been drawn in Group E alongside China PR, the United States and Samoa. Kenya will open its World Cup campaign against China PR on Monday, October 19.
