The uptake of family planning services is increasing in parts of the country, with health officials calling for greater awareness among young people to prevent early and unintended pregnancies. In Kilifi County, 47 percent of women are using family planning methods, while in Vihiga, County reproductive health experts are urging young people to seek information and services to prevent teenage pregnancies.
