Sharon Otieno’s family pleads with court to spare Obado from jail
Description (show more)
In a new twist in the murder case of Sharon Otieno, her family is now pleading with the court to spare former Migori Governor Okoth Obado a custodial sentence, saying they have forgiven him after he sought their forgiveness. Sharon’s mother, Melinda Auma, told the court the family would prefer a non-custodial sentence, which she says would allow Obado to help raise Sharon’s three children. The court on Wednesday retired to consider the material filed by all parties involved in the case, after a day of presentation of mitigation submissions at the High Court Connect with KBC Online; Subscribe to our channel: https://t.ly/86BKNc Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.om/KBCChannel1 Find us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/kbcchannel1TV Check our website: https://www.kbc.co.ke/ #kbcchannel1 #news #kbclive
