Makueni senator Dan Maanzo on fuel price hikes

Makueni Senator Dan Maanzo has accused President William Ruto of taking Kenyans for a ride over rising fuel prices, arguing that the government is not committed to addressing the high cost of living. Speaking during a burial ceremony in Kilala, Makueni County, Maanzo questioned why the president signed a tax law bill seeking to reduce the fuel tax by 8 per cent after fuel prices had already been increased.
