Standing Rock crowned 2026 Pink Polo champions

Standing Rock were crowned champions of the 2026 Pink Polo Tournament after beating Mercedes Black ten goals to seven in an entertaining grand finale at the Nairobi Polo Club on Sunday. Tom Boddie was the standout scorer for Standing Rock, contributing four goals, while Philip Muller, Alle Owanso and Kalim Absan also played a part in the team's triumph. Mercedes Black had Jamie Excell leading their scoring with three goals, while Allie Camm added two, but it was not enough to deny Standing Rock the title. Beyond the competition, the two-day tournament was out to use the sport as a platform to promote breast cancer awareness, encourage early detection and screening, and show solidarity with patients, survivors and their families.
