Among those who lost their lives were Mbugua Mwangi, the nephew of President Uhuru Kenyatta, and his fiancée, Rosemary Wahito. Their deaths brought the tragedy even closer to the nation’s leadership, but the pain of Westgate belonged to every family that lost a loved one.
