Mtito Andei crash survivors recount disagreement over journey home

Survivors of Sunday’s Mtito Andei accident that claimed 24 lives say members of the group differed over when to travel back home after attending a burial in Lugari, Kakamega County. Some members proposed that they rest and begin the journey on Sunday, while others opted to travel overnight. As investigations into the crash continue, autopsies conducted on the bodies of the 24 victims established that they died from multiple fractures and severe blood loss. Maryanne Nyambura reports.
