This Woman Questioned Everything She Had Been Taught About Success, So She Left The City Behind
Description (show more)
For years, Eddah followed the path many of us are taught to pursue. Work hard, build a career, acquire more and keep moving to the next milestone. But somewhere along the way, she began asking herself difficult questions. Was she truly happy? Was she living intentionally? And was the life she was building actually the life she wanted? Those questions eventually led her back to a piece of ancestral land in Githunguri that had been sitting unused for years. What started as a bold personal decision has since grown into a lifestyle centered around simplicity, nature, organic food and a deeper connection with the things that matter most to her. In this episode, Eddah opens up about the realities of leaving behind a familiar way of life, the lessons she has learned along the journey and why she believes more people should begin seeing village life as an opportunity rather than a last resort. If you have ever felt like there must be more to life than constantly chasing the next thing, then this conversation is for you. As always, thank you for being part of this community and for walking this journey with us. #SlowLiving #LynnNgugiShow
