Kanga road crash death toll rises to 24

Tonight, we begin with yet another tragedy on our roads. The death toll from Sunday’s horrific crash at Kanga, near Mtito Andei, has risen to 24 after another victim succumbed to injuries in hospital. The victims were church members travelling back to the Coast after attending their pastor’s burial in Western Kenya. The tragedy has renewed concerns over road safety, as the government unveils fresh measures to curb road deaths. Maryanne Nyambura reports.
