Kindiki orders nationwide crackdown on alcohol manufacturers

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has ordered a fresh nationwide crackdown and re-inspection of all alcohol manufacturing plants in the country. Kindiki warned that operators distributing toxic substances under the guise of alcohol will face swift closure and arrest. Speaking during a tour of Kiambu County, he said the government will not back down, directing multi-agency teams to dismantle the cartels behind the distribution of harmful alcoholic products.
