Nakuru protest victim dies months after sustaining spinal injury

JEFF: The family of Jeremiah Mwaura, a Nakuru resident who allegedly sustained a spinal injury during protests against rising fuel prices in May this year, is mourning his death after months of battling complications linked to his injuries. OLIVE: Mwaura, who had undergone a major operation and remained bedridden at home, died just hours before arrangements were made to transfer him for further medical care on Tuesday last week.
