CS Barasa urges Kenyans to take environmental action ahead of October rains

Environment Cabinet Secretary Dr Deborah Mlongo Barasa has urged Kenyans to take deliberate and practical environmental action in their homes to help avert disasters as the country prepares for the October rains. Barasa also called on communities, institutions and employees of various companies to participate in restoring tree cover and cleaning up the environment. The CS said the measures are important as the country prepares for the expected El Niño season.
