Description (show more)
Residents of Murang’a County are set to benefit from expanded healthcare services following the upgrade of two major public hospitals. Governor Irungu Kang’ata says the projects will increase bed capacity, introduce modern medical equipment and improve access to quality care amid rising demand for health services. Speaking during the commissioning of the expanded Kandara Sub-County Hospital, Governor Kang’ata said the additional infrastructure would boost the facility’s capacity to handle emergencies, offer specialised services and serve residents of Kandara and neighbouring communities more efficiently. The governor also commissioned a new Inpatient and Outpatient Amenity Complex at Murang’a Level 5 Hospital, in what the county government says is part of a wider plan to strengthen healthcare delivery across the county
