In an effort to increase awareness on the benefits of conservation agriculture, agra and the food and land use coalition held the 2nd regenerative agriculture conference held in nairobi last week. It emerged that more than 2 million households in the country are unable to meet their subsistence needs. Majority of these are smallholder farmers who despite having access to farm land don’t have the resources to meet their subsistence needs.
