Stakeholders urge Parliament to fast-track Tertiary Education Funding Bill

Education stakeholders have called on the National Assembly to fast-track the passage of the Tertiary Education, Placement and Funding Bill, saying the prevailing situation has locked many first-year students out of funding. The Elimu Bora Working Group also wants the government to release an interim funding stream for the first-year students who reported in September as it awaits the passage of the bill.
