Ruto warns wealthy landowners against frustrating Coast squatters

President William Ruto has warned wealthy landowners in the Coast region against frustrating squatters, saying his administration will not allow Kenyans to be harassed over land they have occupied for years. Speaking in Mombasa on the seventh day of his Coast tour, President Ruto said he was ready to confront land grabbers, while directing residents not to leave the land they currently occupy. The President also urged Coast leaders to remain united as the 2027 General Election approaches.
