Martha Karua's father remembered as principled teacher and disciplinarian

Family, friends and political leaders gathered at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi for the funeral service of the late Mwalimu Jackson Karua, father of People’s Liberation Party leader Martha Karua. The veteran teacher was remembered as a strict but principled parent who championed discipline, fairness and integrity.
