ODM leaders accuse opposition of misleading Kenyans over electoral law amendments
Description (show more)
ODM leaders have criticised the opposition, accusing it of lacking coherence and misleading Kenyans over recent amendments to electoral law. The leaders dismissed claims that the Elections (Amendment) Bill of 2024 seeks to scrap the livestreaming of election results, insisting that the provision remains intact. They made the remarks in Kakuma and Lokichogio, Turkana County, during activities to mark “Mwezi wa Baba”, a commemoration of the late Raila Odinga that began on October 15.
