Mbobu murder case begins; politician Rose Mbithe Ndetei among the suspects

The Milimani Chief Magistrate’s Court has ordered four suspects linked to the murder of lawyer Mathew Kyalo Mbobu to be detained for 15 days to allow the Directorate of Criminal Investigations to complete investigations. The 4 were arrested on the 24th of September 2026 in Nairobi ,in connection with the murder of lawyer that occurred on the 9th of September 2025,with detectives now linking politician Rose Mbithe who is already in  custody in connection with yet another murder of psychologist Dr. Victoria Mutiso. The court order followed an application by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations seeking 30 days to complete investigations into Mbobu’s murder, after the 4 were on Friday arraigned at the Milimani Law Court.
