They Tried to Steal Her Kidney But God Showed Up | From Sin to Salvation
Description (show more)
Irene Wangui Wanjiru graces us once again on Tales by Titus 254. Born and raised in the ghetto, Irene has endured a great deal in her life, and today, she shares it all with us. She recounts her past experiences in detail. At one point, she was arrested, but by God's grace, she was released. From that moment on, she vowed never to return to a life of crime. Later, Irene ventured into working in nightclubs — dancing and entertaining customers. On her first day, accompanied by a friend, she was shocked by the attire worn by the women at the club. Overwhelmed, she went back home, lacking the courage to work that day. During this period, Irene turned to drugs that numbed her pain and made her feel untouchable. The second time she attempted to dance with the pole, she didn't know how — she even cried on stage. Yet, she summoned courage and pressed on. One day, she encountered a client who offered her a drink. When she woke up, she was no longer in the same place they'd originally gone. She found herself somewhere unfamiliar, surrounded by other women with no clothes on. Those in the room were dressed like surgeons. They intended to harvest her kidney. Miraculously, God intervened when their boss called with urgent news, halting the procedure. They had already taken kidneys from three women. Irene and her colleagues hustled across the country, especially in Machakos. On one occasion, they visited a witch doctor, who instructed them to borrow money and bring it back for a magical ritual. They were also given more extreme options, such as being buried for seven days. Listen to Irene’s journey — the choices she made in her search for money and a better life. Today, she is a transformed woman, devoted to following Christ and spreading His gospel. Welcome to today's episode on Tales by Titus 254.
