66 of 67 workers accounted for after Eastleigh building collapse
Description (show more)
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen says 66 of the 67 workers at an 18-storey building that collapsed in Eastleigh, Nairobi, have been accounted for, with some having escaped before the incident. A woman rescued from the rubble has been hospitalised. The building’s basement and ground floors housed shops, raising concerns that traders and other people may also have been affected by the collapse.
