Gideon Moi accuses Ruto of breaking agreement

Description (show more)

KANU chairman Gideon Moi has accused President William Ruto of failing to honour an agreement they reached a year ago, reigniting tensions between the two leaders. In a rare disclosure during a meeting with Kalenjin elders at his Kabarak home in Nakuru County, Moi dismissed claims that he was sponsoring the opposition through hard-hitting headlines published by The Standard newspaper. As Emmanuel Too reports, the KANU chairman has also sought forgiveness from his community for failing to heed their advice against aligning himself with President Ruto.
