Fuel tanker explosion kills two, injures several as residents rush to siphon fuel

Two people have died while scores of others sustained serious burn injuries after a fuel tanker overturned and exploded at Kapkong area, near Paul Boit High School, along the Eldoret-Webuye Highway. Uasin Gishu County Police Commander Wilberforce Sicharani said the accident occurred after a head-on collision between the tanker and another vehicle that was travelling from the Webuye direction.
