Government destroys methamphetamine worth Sh8.2 billion

The government has destroyed more than 1,000 kilograms of methamphetamine valued at Sh8.2 billion. Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen, who led the exercise, warned drug traffickers against the vice, saying they have no place on Kenyan soil. Murkomen further said the government will not only destroy narcotics but will also confiscate all proceeds linked to drug trafficking.
