Government invests Sh30 billion in police modernization program

President William Ruto has warned the political class against dragging police into partisan contests, inciting violence, or asking officers to carry out unlawful instructions. Speaking during the passing-out parade for General Service Unit officers at the National Police College Embakasi B Campus, Nairobi, the President said the police must secure the democratic space impartially as the country heads to the 2027 General Election.
