New bosses appointed to lead EPRA, KETRACO and GDC after leadership shake-up

Three new bosses are taking charge in the energy sector after months of turmoil at the top. A now widely reported oil importation scandal triggered arrests and three high-profile resignations, while elsewhere, a CEO was dismissed without a public explanation and another’s contract was not renewed. Now, insiders have been picked to lead the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority, EPRA, Kenya Electricity Transmission Company, KETRACO and the Geothermal Development Company, GDC, as Kenya Pipeline and the National Oil Corporation await substantive heads.
