Fresh attack reported as Samburu security operation continues

Tonight, we begin the bulletin with the killing fields of Samburu. Insecurity has now spread to Samburu North, with bandits reported to have attacked Nakasunyai village in Marti this afternoon. The fresh attack comes as a security operation continues in Samburu East, targeting suspected bandits and their livestock. But the operation has triggered anger among residents and leaders, after hundreds of livestock were reportedly killed by security officers. Residents are now demanding an end to the operation and compensation for the losses they say they have suffered.
