We are celebrating the remarkable life of a man who was many things to many people – a devoted husband, a loving father, a visionary entrepreneur, and a pillar in his community. Gordon Obure Ondik was born on 26th July 1955 in Kisumu County, the 10th child in a humble, God-fearing family. Raised in strong Christian values, he was known from an early age for his engaging personality, discipline, and commitment to excellence. Gordon's life journey was marked by resilience and entrepreneurial brilliance. From a small retail shop in Dunga village to building a flourishing fish trade business across Kenya and Uganda, his determination and wisdom knew no bounds. He believed in hard work, education, and faith – values he instilled in his 12 children, ensuring they received an education without any external aid. His legacy lives on through the generations he mentored and the countless lives he touched.
